Grammy comes to visit!

We had a GREAT time with my mom, and were sad when she left! Crazy to think that the next time we see her, we'll have our second little girl soon thereafter! We did so many fun things- we went to Seattle for a morning (since Lillian has afternoon naps still) and went to the top of the space needle. We were both really a little scared to go to the top, and actually disappointed to find it wasn't at all scary! Towards the end of walking around it, we both felt like our legs were rubber bands though! We went to Alki Beach after that, and had a fun little picnic. We also got to head out to Owen Beach, which is right by our house, hang out down in the Harbor, play at home with Lillian, and do some fun Mom/Daughter stuff thanks to Tom! We went shopping and got our nails done! So much fun. Thanks to my mom, Tom and I got to go on a super long and much needed date! Tom surprised me with a fun Ferry ride to Seattle, where we walked around, went shopping, and had a really nice dinner at Elliot's Oyster House. It's so nice to have time together! It was wonderful having her here, and we can't wait to see her again! We're still enjoying the Casa Molina tortillas she brought with her on her carry on! Ha ha! Thanks Mom!!!!! :)

Latest Lillian & Elle!

Lillian and Elle are so sweet together! They have such sweet little personalities and get along so well! I love how Lillian copies everything we say and do right now. She loves to sing the Annie song Tomorrow whenever I mention the word Tomorrow, ha ha. She gets so proud of anyone for doing anything, and does her "you did it!" dance and cheer! She is so sweet and happy all the time. Her newest thing is to pick up things around the house and say "I don't like that" or "I like that". Ha ha. Elle is so sweet and so verbal too. She loves to blow kisses and say Muah! She says dog, dada, mama, more, book, ball, please and all done in sign language. Such a sweet happy baby. Unless she is hungry or tired, she pretty much laughs ALL the time. She is so silly and sweet. Love how if we are ignoring her requests for "Moooe?" she gets louder and louder and her voice gets raspier and raspier until we get her what she needs. So blessed to have these girls!
Lillian is saying more and more words as the days go by, and copying almost EVERYTHING we do! It's so funny to see her brush her hair and teeth, wash her face, pretend to put hair product in her hair, and do all sorts of other cute things mama and dada do! She even helps me remember things I forget! We were rushing out the door the other day, and I knew I was forgetting something. I kept asking out loud "what was I supposed to do?" She kept saying di-der, di-der, over and over. I was about to leave, when it hit me. DIAPER! I needed to change her diaper! I said diaper, and she smiled as big as possible, and said it again. She remembered what I had forgotten to do! Ha ha.
I've realized that Lillian copies anything we do now pretty much, so time to start being careful what we say or do! She now loves to blow kisses, wave goodbye and hello, point to numerous body parts, comb her hair (although leaves some work for Mama), brush her teeth (again, with work left), clap, dance with her arms up in the air, make elephant sounds and motions, monkey, cow and dog sounds, and cross her arms across her chest to say she loves something. Such a sweet girl. Her latest is to say "I go" or "I do" anytime she's doing something. Little Miss Independent!
